Smokey - son of Robin of Loxley

What a boy! following closely in the pawprints of his forefather's. Smokey is a fine example of line breeding at its best - with the like's of Luck Dragon, Robyn Hood and Robin of Loxley in his bloodline it is not surprising that he is so successful in the breed ring. Smokey was chosen because of his 'likeness' to his sire Robyn Hood aka Dollar. In addition, his charming temperament did not go unnoticed - somehow he always managed to catch my attention in his litter.

Smokey did not attend many shows as a puppy, and was often overshadowed by his pretty sister Tiana. As a teenager, he started turning heads - a strong young male. I watched patiently as he started to transform into a beautiful young adult - masculinity clearly defined, perfect medium size, pitch black pigment, plush very white coat with balanced movement.

As an older puppy and teenager he was awarded Best of Breed over the adults in the show ring. 

With maturity he has wowed judges with his fabulous plush coat and strong black pigment. Smokey soon began to hit 'home run's' in 2023 with many Best of Breeds and a few group placings.

Smokey has had 'limited' showing in 2024 , and is currently being campaigned in the showring in 2025 with great success - he is currently South Africa's #1 Top achieving showdog ranked #33 in the top 100 showdogs as at end August 2025 with a fabulous 1st Herding group win under international judge : Mr B.Chmiel, Poland
