​SNOWEY  RIVER​​

My Veterans are very special to me and are treasured as they grow older. They still go out for walks or to the local village market. Their ears still stand erect and although they hobble along, you can see that they are still so very noble and full of grace. Special care is taken when they are washed and they are helped into the doggie bath and carried out. In the winter months they snuggle up in their winter blankets inside my home so that their old bones can be protected against the harsh and sometimes wet winter months. They are not clipped down in winter since they need their coats for warmth. In the summer months, they stretch out in the cool shade of the patio area................they have plenty of love and care in their retirement.
